Nature trail on “soil” in the Tharandter Wald

From the “Zigeunerplatz” to “Ascherhübel” we cross a variety of soils, a so called Catena.  Soils provide the basics of life for plants, animals and human beings. They have an important and fundamental function in the cycles of nature while being strained and endangered because of a variety of influences on them. That is why creating an awareness for soil within large parts of society is so important.
